Restylane Kysse Lip Filler
Do you have thin, asymmetric, or aging lips? Restylane Kysse offers a new, more natural-looking (and feeling!) approach. Whether you want fuller lips or seek symmetry, contouring, or smoothing, Restylane Kysse may be the right solution for you.
What Makes Restylane Kysse Different?
Like other FDA-approved lip fillers, Restylane Kysse contains the active ingredient hyaluronic acid (HA). HA occurs naturally in the body, enhancing moisture and youthful fullness. HA injection to the lips and other areas of the face add immediate fullness while drawing water to the area for improved results over time. These injections also allow us to reshape areas of the face, including the lips, providing symmetry and contouring.
With Restylane Kysse, there is one distinct difference: tissue integration. Other HA fillers create a pocket of HA which, when applied by a skilled cosmetic dermatologist, can look and feel very natural. Restylane Kysse, however, integrates with the tissue for a different look and feel, one that is arguably more natural-looking and feeling. Kysse is also more flexible, allowing full facial expression.

How much does Restylane Kysse cost?
Cost per treatment varies as individual needs also vary. Dr. Hanke and our team will provide you with a quote during consultation. It’s important to remember that choosing a provider based on cost alone is not advisable, as lower costs often mean cut corners and poorly trained injectors.
What are the expected side effects with this treatment?
Lip filler treatment side effects are largely similar, regardless of the type of HA filler used. This includes some mild swelling and bruising, which can be minimized and managed by following our pre- and post-care instructions. Serious complications are very rare, and many can be avoided by seeking treatment by an experienced board-certified dermatologic surgeon.
Is Restylane Kysse FDA-approved? Is it safe?
Yes. Kysse is FDA-approved and is considered safe for most healthy adults who desire a change in the fullness and/or shape of the lips.
Does treatment hurt? Is anesthesia offered?
Each Kysse syringe contains lidocaine, a local, injectable anesthetic. Other topical numbing may also be used to increase comfort. General anesthesia is not required. Most patients describe the treatment as tolerable, feeling like a pinching sensation.
Restylane Kysse vs Silk: What’s the difference?
Restylane Silk was the first ever FDA-approved HA filler designed specifically for lips. However, Kysse offers more flexibility and natural-looking results. Both fillers provide patients with exceptional results when administered by an experienced cosmetic dermatologist. Kysse is clinically proven to last up to twice as long as Silk.
Where can I find reviews and before and after photos for this treatment?
During your consultation, we can provide you with before and after photos for your review. You may also find photos of Kysse results and reviews on the official website for Restylane.
