Forever Young BBL takes about one hour or less, depending on your needs and the size of the treatment area. The application of light treatment may feel warm. Some describe the sensation of light rubber band snaps on the skin. Patients typically describe this sensation as tolerable.

Forever Young BBL Aftercare and Results

Following any IPL or laser skin treatment, you must follow all aftercare instructions. This includes protecting the treatment area from sun exposure. Wear sunscreen or UV protective clothing/hats, and stay inside when possible. UV protective sunglasses are helpful if you receive treatment around the eyes.

As Forever Young BBL is a gentle procedure, most patients require more than one treatment to see optimum results. With each treatment, you will see skin imperfections slowly disappear over time.

After each treatment, your skin may be red or mildly swollen. You may feel like you have a mild sunburn as well. These symptoms typically resolve within 24 hours or less. For 1-2 weeks following treatment, you may notice what is called a “peppering effect,” whereby areas of pigmentation temporarily look worse before they fade or disappear completely.

Over time, you will notice more even skin tone and a brighter complexion. Your pores may even appear smaller and fine lines can also improve with the Forever Young BBL. Once a baseline is achieved, regular Forever Young BBL maintenance treatments are recommended to maintain the positive results.
