Perlane is similar to Restylane except that the HA (hyaluronic acid) particle size is smaller, thereby making it a formal implant. This characteristic makes this filler ideal for deep folds and deeper places of injection.

How it Works

Perlane is commonly-used for deep nasolabial folds, marionette lines, cheeks, chin, jawlines, infraorbital hollows, and lip augmentation.

Downtime and Recovery

When injected in the supraperiosteal plane, the downtime is usually minimal. Subcutaneous and lip injections may result in swelling and bruising for several days.

Results

Correction may last 12-18 months. Hyaluronic acid fillers can be removed with hyaluronidase.
